Portworx Backup enables you to retrieve the backups, namespaces, and resources with the preset labels. Kubernetes allows you to apply the labels for namespaces and resources with a key-value pair using the CLI and Portworx backup UI allows you to filter them when needed at a later point in time to create a backup. You can leverage the UI to apply labels to backups and search them later.

Besides, the labeling feature allows you to automatically back up any new namespace(s) or resource(s) with a preset label, as the scheduler actively picks up new namespaces and/or resources with specific labels in each cycle of scheduled backups.
